Description

You'll support and develop core Appian platform projects for the Department of Labor, working with technologies like Drupal, Apache Kafka, and Tableau. You'll design systems, resolve defects, and guide technical decisions to meet mission needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 6 years supporting major IT systems with Appian, GitLab, Drupal, AWS/Azure, Cosmos DB, Apache Kafka, JavaScript, NetApp, Oracle, SQL, JIRA
• Experience with standardized DevOps practices
• Expertise in Azure/AWS DevOps practices
• Preference for experience supporting foreign labor case management systems

Responsibilities

• Support and develop core Appian platform, Drupal CMS, Apache Kafka, and related FLAG technologies
• Work with Federal PM and Product Owner to understand functional and technical requirements
• Participate in major design decisions and prioritize technical debt and bugs
• Design and develop system architecture that integrates with existing infrastructure
• Document system architecture design and root cause analysis
