Description

You'll join the Starlink Solar Automation Team to design, build, and commission automated manufacturing systems for the next-generation solar array. Work cross-functionally on machine design, robotics, PLC programming, and process control to scale production for the world's largest satellite constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, CS, or STEM field
• 1+ years in design and commissioning of automation/controls systems (internships count)
• Experience with PLCs, robots, servo motion, machine vision, or distributed IO
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Beckhoff TwinCAT structured text preferred)
• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting and schematic comprehension

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement automation projects from ideation to production
• Architect, write, and debug PLC code
• Implement vision systems for robotic guidance and quality control
• Design control systems and track factory performance data
• Create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics for control panels
