You'll lead Tandem PV's space solar initiative, defining the technical roadmap and building a team to develop space-qualified tandem solar panels. You will drive system architecture, performance targets, and reliability strategy while working closely with customers and internal teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape a new product line at a fast-moving company backed by $50M in Series A funding.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define technical roadmap for space-qualified tandem solar panels
• Hire, manage, and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
• Adapt terrestrial tandem technology for space environments
• Oversee development of lightweight panel architectures

📋 Requirements

• Experience developing space solar cells or spacecraft photovoltaic arrays
• Track record leading engineering teams or complex technical programs
• Background in perovskite or tandem solar technologies
• Knowledge of radiation effects on solar cells and space environmental testing
