💼 About This Role

You'll be the connective tissue between raw data and analyses, dashboards, and data products that drive merchant outcomes at Loop. You'll build and maintain the foundation for the dbt project and self-serve analytics with meaningful autonomy. You'll collaborate closely with the Data Team to make Loop's unique return and exchange data useful.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain production-quality dbt models with focus on performance and maintainability.
• Translate business requirements into clean, well-documented data models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on ingestion pipelines and Snowflake performance.
• Support a dbt contributor base and help grow their skills.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an analytics engineer or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with dbt in a production environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouse design.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing for data.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience building self-serve content in Looker, Hex, or GoodData.
• SaaS, e-commerce, or startup background.
