💼 About This Role

You'll work alongside Kenya's Ministry of Health PMU to provide independent analytical and advisory support for implementing a Health Cooperation Framework with the US government. Your core impact is equipping GoK decision-makers with evidence, options, and frameworks for transitioning USG resources to direct government systems. This role embeds you within a high-impact global health initiative.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design portfolio review methodology and assessment criteria for implementing partners.
• Analyze program performance data, audit findings, and compliance records.
• Classify partner relationships: continue, modify, or terminate with transition plans.
• Assess GoK institutional readiness to absorb functions from implementing partners.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience in international development or public health program management.
• Expertise in government-to-government fiscal architecture and public financial management.
• Experience working with USAID or U.S. Department of State funded programs.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills for high-level decision support.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in infectious disease programs (HIV, TB, malaria, GHS).
• Familiarity with Kenya's health system and Ministry of Health structure.
• Knowledge of presidential executive orders related to humanitarian assistance.
