Description

You will provide ground support equipment technician support, including building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment like pumps, tanks, valves, and plumbing related to liquid oxygen and fuel systems. Collaborate with design engineers and support engine testing and structural test stand programs to help enable human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years industrial experience in pipe installation, stainless tube bending, or high-pressure/mechanical systems
• Experience with ground support equipment in aerospace preferred
• Knowledge of hazardous systems (cryogenic, flammable, hypergolic, pyrophoric)
• Ability to work at heights up to 500ft and in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot GSE equipment including pumps, tanks, valves, and plumbing
• Operate and maintain hardware, high-pressure systems, pumps, and pneumatic components
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document GSE activities
• Streamline processes and increase reliability of testing operations
