Description

Lead a small team of network security engineers to protect the firm's data through network security best practices, acting as the lead engineer and architect of network security solutions including firewalls, VPN/SASE, web application protection, and more. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, collaborate with IT teams on cloud security, and develop network segmentation policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field
• 5-7+ years of experience in network security within a highly regulated environment
• Previous team lead management experience
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto Networks Security certifications
• In-depth knowledge of network segmentation, zero trust architecture, SASE, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of network security engineers, providing strategic guidance and mentorship
• Lead engineering and architecture of network security solutions (e.g., micro-segmentation, firewalls, VPN/SASE, web application protection)
• Manage advanced security configurations for next-generation firewalls locally and globally
• Ensure network security compliance with regulatory standards (PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Develop and maintain network segmentation policies including zero trust architecture
