You'll design and build shared backend services and APIs for Crosslake's tools and products. You'll own the full SDLC and ensure scalability and reusability across multiple systems. This role offers the chance to work in small, high-ownership engineering pods.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build shared backend services and APIs
• Define service boundaries, contracts, and data models
• Own full SDLC from design to deployment and iteration
• Contribute to domain modeling and system design decisions

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend expertise with ability to work across full stack
• Experience designing service-oriented or distributed systems
• Deep experience with AI coding tools on a daily basis

✨ Nice to Have

• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• API design (REST, GraphQL, event-driven)
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Golang, or Rust
