Description

You will work one-on-one providing job coaching and training to individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, helping them explore, seek, choose, acquire, and maintain employment. You will empower individuals to obtain meaningful employment, enhance their job skills, and educate employers on the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.

Requirements

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Day-time availability
• ACRE and/or CESP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to obtain meaningful employment
• Assist with enhancing job skills by monitoring progress through documentation
• Educate employers on benefits of hiring people with disabilities
• Advocate for inclusion and reasonable accommodations
• Impact the community through support and advocacy
