Description

You will drive strategic supply network development and cost management of product hardware across their lifecycles, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing to accelerate product development and optimize total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field
• 6+ years experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics/mechanical devices
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at component product level
• Ability to travel 10%-40% of the time
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection for specific product using approved supplier list
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via concept scoping, cost models, joint design
• Drive development and consolidation of manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing
• Lead cost engineering activities to converge cost curve to product cost maximizing TCO
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
