Description

As a Critical Power Field Technician, you will perform on-site preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance on critical power systems including UPS, DC systems, inverters, and batteries. You will install equipment, troubleshoot failures, mentor crew members, and build customer relationships while ensuring safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in third-party critical power field service or 5 years in OEM service
• Prior military training in electronics or avionics preferred
• Good understanding of AC/DC electrical principles
• Ability to read and interpret electronics schematics
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Install small rack-mounted UPS equipment, batteries, and monitoring equipment
• Maintain battery cabinets, racks, bypass, and DC systems
• Perform remedial services including failure analysis and component replacements
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell products
• Mentor crew members on site work and troubleshooting techniques
