💼 About This Role

You'll build and operate Upbound Spaces, the control plane management software at the heart of the Upbound Platform. You'll have significant impact in both development and production operations for a Series B startup backed by GV. This role offers the chance to work on open-source Crossplane and support enterprise customers across 100+ countries.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and operate Upbound Spaces in production, troubleshooting SaaS environments
• Own building high-demand features for customers and deliver new functionality
• Investigate and debug complex issues in customer environments
• Write and maintain Go code that interfaces with the Kubernetes API

📋 Requirements

• Experience operating production cloud services at scale
• Strong debugging skills across distributed systems
• Experience building and operating controllers interacting with the Kubernetes API server
• Comfortable working directly with customers to resolve complex issues

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS or control plane management
