💼 About This Role

You'll partner with Platform and product engineering teams to identify highest-leverage quality opportunities and build tooling that accelerates engineering velocity. Your work will help Zipline engineers ship faster and with more confidence, making quality part of how we build at a fast-growing SaaS company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assess and evolve engineering practices, surface high-impact opportunities, and co-develop QE roadmap.
• Strengthen CI/CD quality gates including linting, security scanning, and test coverage checks.
• Build quality dashboards and enhance monitoring and alerting for engineering health.
• Explore and embed AI-powered tooling across the engineering workflow for quality.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in DevEx, DevOps, or infrastructure.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted developer tooling (code review agents, test generation, or LLM-powered quality checks).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS via Terraform.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with SAST/SCA security scanning (Snyk, Semgrep, or equivalent).
• Awareness of DORA metrics and developer experience frameworks.
