💼 About This Role

You'll design consumable components for complex automated machinery used in manufacturing novel pharmaceutical products, collaborating with a cross-functional team. You'll own the design of robotic cartridges, adapters, and fluid transfer sets, from concept through production. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge robotic systems that impact patient access to life-saving therapies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own robotic consumable design from concept to production using first principles.
• Perform detailed CAD modeling, tolerance stack-ups, and material selection.
• Collaborate with Biology, Product, and Robotics teams to meet requirements.
• Manage design transfer to manufacturing and support validation testing.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years engineering experience in bioprocessing consumables or medical devices.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems by breaking them into simpler tasks.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical components, materials, and fabrication methods.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and basic GD&T standards.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in FDA/EMA regulated industries.
• Familiarity with sterile single-use assemblies.
• Onshape experience and hands-on machine shop skills.
