Description

You will work with senior engineers to design and test electrical harnesses for satellites and ground support equipment. You'll create schematics, select components, develop test plans, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable spacecraft electrical systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 0–2 years industry experience or recent graduate with hands-on project experience
  • Proficiency in CAD software for harness design (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA, Mentor Graphics)
  • Knowledge of electrical simulation and analysis tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, test, and support electrical harness integration for spacecraft and ground systems
  • Create electrical schematics and select wiring, connectors, and harness components per industry standards
  • Develop and execute test plans to verify functionality, reliability, and performance of harness systems
  • Conduct testing, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues to meet design requirements
  • Prepare technical documentation including interface control documents, schematics, and harness drawings
