💼 About This Role

You'll architect, prototype, and build hardware systems for Formlabs' next-generation 3D printers, making key system decisions that affect performance and reliability. You will push the capabilities of 3D printing by creating innovative solutions to challenging problems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Push capabilities of 3D printing with innovative solutions
• Be a technical leader for mechanical, systems, and electrical engineers
• Prototype new systems, mechanisms, and test materials
• Architect subsystems for performance, manufacturability, reliability

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in electro-mechanical systems
• Strong portfolio of previous work in electro-mechanical systems
• Familiarity with thermal systems, optical systems, sensor design, controllers, structures, and algorithms
• Experience with full product development cycle

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with polymers and polymer chemistry
• Electronics and circuit design
• Programming skills (Python)
