💼 About This Role

You'll join K+S Services, a SunSource company, operating and tending grinding machines. You'll plan and perform difficult grinding operations requiring complicated setups and high accuracy. You'll use precision measuring instruments and assist with other machines as needed.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and tend grinding machines
• Perform cylindrical, ID, and specialized tool/spindle grinding
• Determine proper feeds, speeds, tooling, and operation sequence
• Maintain supply of perishable tools and assist other machines

📋 Requirements

• Journeyman (machining) or 8 years equivalent experience
• High degree of mechanical aptitude and print reading skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of lathe, mill, CNC setup/programming
• Experience with surface grind or jig grind
