You'll join a team applying scientific AI to real-world problems. You'll work closely with ML researchers and product stakeholders to implement and iterate on models for concrete applications, accelerating research and building production-ready solutions. This role offers hands-on experience at a leading AI safety nonprofit.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Accelerate applied research, training, and inference for real-world models.
• Design and implement workflows for research experiments across simulated and real environments.
• Develop datasets, tools, and libraries to evaluate models for concrete applications.
• Establish and maintain best practices for ML model development workflows.

📋 Requirements

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in machine learning or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization tools (gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with HPC running PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Familiarity with task managers (Ray, SLURM).
• Experience building ML products from scratch or from research prototypes.
