You'll serve as the principal financial advisor and strategic partner to the COO, leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for a mission-driven nonprofit. You'll oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with grant and contract fiscal requirements, and drive financial sustainability. This role stands out due to its direct impact on organizational growth and community engagement.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Develop financial policies and internal controls for compliance.
- Oversee accounting operations including AP/AR and payroll.
- Manage annual audit and serve as liaison to external auditors.
๐ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Demonstrated nonprofit financial management experience including budgets and audits.
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards and fiscal compliance.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and communicate to diverse audiences.

- Master's degree or CPA certification.
- Experience with government funding and fiscal oversight in a public-funding environment.
