💼 About This Role

You'll join the Unity Services Foundation team in Helsinki to build and improve core API Gateways processing a billion daily calls. You will develop impactful features addressing API management challenges and contribute to platform strategy, making a significant impact at Unity. The role emphasizes maintainability, resiliency, and developer experience.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Participate in all phases of software development from design to maintenance.
• Build platform features for Web API development and operation.
• Support teammates in code quality and operational excellence.
• Engage directly with internal teams for customer support and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with product manager and stakeholders to drive adoption.

📋 Requirements

• Able to design and maintain high-quality web services or gateway solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing code leveraged by other developers.
• Experience in Golang or TypeScript (or similar web development language).
• Experience with Google Cloud or other major cloud platforms.

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise with Gateway technologies (Istio, Envoy, etc.).
• Expertise with Kubernetes.
• Expertise with Agentic workflows natively in daily work.
