Description

You will detect, investigate, and disrupt misuse of Anthropic's AI systems for influence operations and disinformation campaigns, working at the intersection of AI safety and information integrity to defend against AI-enabled information manipulation.

Requirements

• Deep subject matter expertise in influence operations, disinformation, or information warfare
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and threat detection
• Experience tracking and attributing influence campaigns to specific threat actors
• Hands-on experience with large language models and understanding of AI weaponization for influence operations
• Experience with OSINT methodologies for investigating online information ecosystems

Responsibilities

• Detect and investigate attempts to misuse AI systems for influence operations, disinformation, and coordinated inauthentic behavior
• Conduct technical investigations using SQL and Python to analyze datasets and trace threat actor networks
• Develop detection capabilities including abuse signals and behavioral clustering for AI-enabled information manipulation
• Create intelligence reports on influence operation TTPs and threat actor campaigns
• Collaborate with policy and enforcement teams to determine user violations and mitigation actions
