Description

You will serve as the technical point of contact for rocket parts and assemblies, solving manufacturing challenges and driving supplier improvements to support SpaceX's mission to Mars. This role involves new product introduction, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years manufacturing or process engineering experience
• Experience with machining, fabricated components, sheet metal, or composites
• Knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FAIR)
• Ability to travel 40-50% weekly

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical point of contact for assigned rocket parts and assemblies
• Own new product introduction from manufacturing method to supplier development
• Drive technical product improvements to reduce risk and improve manufacturability
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier issues
• Assess supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
