Description
As a Signal and Power Integrity Engineer on Starlink's Payload Engineering team, you will own SI and PI throughout the hardware lifecycle, from silicon architecture and PCB layout to characterization and qualification. You will work cross-functionally to architect new products and define best practices for the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics
- 5+ years industry experience in circuit/electronic product/hardware design
- 2+ years using 3D EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, ADS) and high-speed digital simulators
- 2+ years experience in high-speed digital design or power integrity
Responsibilities
- Specify, design, simulate, and verify SI and PI for satellite hardware including high-speed SERDES and memory interfaces
- Architect new products with novel channels and power delivery strategies
- Derive PCB material specifications and optimize transition structures
- Root cause issues in PCB manufacturing, PCBA test, or satellite integration
- Define best practices, simulation workflows, and test methodologies for SI/PI
