You'll take ownership of streaming and database infrastructure powering Grafana Cloud's next-gen products. You'll operate 100+ multi-cloud clusters, diagnose cross-layer failure modes, and drive reliability at scale. This role blends deep distributed systems work with the opportunity to influence how the team approaches reliability, scaling, and operational excellence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operate and evolve 100+ multi-cloud streaming clusters
• Diagnose and eliminate cross-layer failure modes
• Design safe upgrade and rollout strategies at scale
• Improve observability, automation, and operational ergonomics

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering experience
• Experience in SRE, platform, or distributed systems roles
• Experience operating distributed systems in production

• Experience with WarpStream or similar streaming systems
• Experience with Kubernetes scheduling dynamics
• Experience with storage engines and compression trade-offs
