Description

Join K2 Space, a Series C startup building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown. You will develop mission-critical flight software in Rust for controlling propulsion, attitude control, and power systems on spacecraft, working on real-time fault-tolerant control systems and verifying code with hardware-in-the-loop simulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE, math, or STEM discipline or 3+ years professional software engineering experience
• Development experience in Rust

Responsibilities

• Create software architecture for real-time, fault tolerant control of a 20kW+ spacecraft
• Develop software applications for control of spacecraft subsystems
• Design and implement state machines for robust spacecraft operation
• Author drivers for microcontroller peripherals and external sensors
• Support integration and testing of spacecraft subsystems
