Description

You will provide legal support to Stripe's Marketing, Communications, and Design organizations in APAC, advising on commercial, marketing, and privacy issues. Your work will help scale Stripe's legal frameworks in a priority region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

• 6+ years marketing legal experience in-house or law firm
• Subject matter expertise in APAC marketing legal issues
• Knowledge of data protection frameworks like GDPR, PDPA, Australia's Privacy Act
• Proactive mindset and strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deals under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial, marketing, and privacy issues across APAC
• Ensure compliance of events, marketing materials, CRM, and communications with laws and policies
• Draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial and licensing agreements
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in APAC, especially Greater China
• Develop and maintain template documents, playbooks, and training materials
