You will support tax planning activities including US federal and state income tax, transaction tax return support, cash tax optimization, credits and incentives, and transaction diligence. Responsibilities include calculating tax basis and capital accounts, preparing memos and presentations, reviewing financial models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • 4+ years of professional experience
  • 2-3 years of federal and state tax compliance or tax planning experience
  • Partnership (Sub K) tax experience
  • Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills

Responsibilities

  • Calculate tax basis, 704(b) capital accounts, and transaction-related impacts for tax compliance
  • Prepare memos and presentations to document diligence and transactions
  • Review financial models including cash taxes, partnership capital accounts, and credit incentives
  • Assist with tax research for unique tax fact patterns
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Business Development, and Portfolio Finance to support transactions
