Description

You will analyze specimens, ensure production goals are met, train new hires, and troubleshoot lab issues in a clinical laboratory environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience as a Medical Technologist in clinical lab
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field
• Current California CLS or CGMBS license
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in Molecular Biology

Responsibilities

• Verify proper specimen analysis and perform correct tests
• Assist team in daily lab work following SOPs
• Ensure timely processing and accounting of case samples
• Train new hires and assist supervisor with process changes
• Escalate equipment malfunctions and lab issues, suggest solutions
