Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on experience in web-scale data environments
• Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Causal Inference
• Strong product intuition to scope and design solutions for ambiguous problems
• Exceptional communication skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences
• Track record of mentoring data talent at staff/senior IC level

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Pinterest engagement ecosystem and quantify opportunities and risks
• Lead projects on organic engagement vs advertising tradeoffs and engagement impact on monetization
• Design and productionize ML and evaluation frameworks for forecasting, recommendation, and causal inference
• Advocate for best-in-class experimentation and metric design
• Mentor junior and senior scientists
