Description
You will oversee accounting and internal financial reporting for Sotheby's Luxury Division, Private Sales, and Marketplace. Lead month-end close, forecasting, and manage analysts, ensuring accurate financial results and supporting business managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
- 6-8 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA or equivalent with public and commercial experience
- Previous management and supervisory experience
- Experience with SAP, SEM/BW, SAC, and Blackline
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and forecasting, including P&L analytics and balance sheet review
- Manage Senior/Financial Analysts for internal reporting and planning
- Prepare monthly and quarterly review schedules for operational performance
- Collaborate with Finance Director on senior management commentary and reports
- Coordinate entity-level balance sheet review and enhance internal controls
