💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design of core analytical data models and define analytics engineering standards across Preply. You'll drive initiatives that ensure trustworthy, self-service analytics powering rapid product experimentation. This role shapes the analytical foundations of a unicorn education platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design of scalable analytical data models across business domains.
• Define and champion analytics engineering standards (modeling, naming, testing).
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for multi-terabyte data volumes.
• Own BI and semantic layer (Looker/LookML) for self-service analytics.

📋 Requirements

• Expert-level SQL with Python experience in data workflows.
• 7+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering roles.
• Proven track record designing scalable analytical data models.
• Advanced hands-on experience with dbt, Looker, and Airflow.

• Experience scaling data platforms in high-growth or post-Series C startups.
• Defining and standardizing event taxonomies and KPIs.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud data ecosystems.
