Description

You will lead the review of PV and ESS project designs, providing technical expertise in interconnection, construction, and commissioning of distributed energy resources. This role involves specifying equipment, performing advanced electrical modeling, and supporting the full project lifecycle from development to asset management.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical infrastructure up to 345kV
• In-depth knowledge of protective relaying and controls
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and NESC codes
• Experience with ETAP modeling
• Experience in PV and ESS projects

Responsibilities

• Specify and review equipment shop drawings for switchgear, transformers, reclosers
• Perform advanced electrical modeling in ETAP and AmpCalc for system protection, arc-flash, grounding
• Manage scope of work for 3rd party electrical engineers including studies and substation design
• Provide technical support to Development, EPC, and O&M teams throughout project lifecycle
• Review draft construction drawings for NEC compliance and respond to RFIs
