Description

You will design and implement digital signal processing algorithms and systems for the Starshield satellite program, working with a cross-functional team to build communications and sensing systems for low earth orbit. You will drive firmware and software decisions, perform on-orbit testing, and collaborate on novel RF system solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or EE with 1+ years DSP experience, or 3+ years DSP experience without degree
• 1+ years experience in system-level modeling and/or digital signal processing
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Drive program-level decisions on firmware and software designs
• Research novel solutions for large-scale RF systems
• Design and test algorithms for on-orbit and ground-based data processing
• Collaborate with FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems
• Perform on-orbit demonstrations and testing
