Description

You will lead business development and capture efforts for SMX's Space and Intel team, driving deals with DoD and IC customers in areas like cloud development, R&D, and future architectures. You'll shape capture strategies, manage opportunity pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-focused digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years combined experience in strategic capture, business development, proposal development, or solutions development
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 4+ years in DoD or IC community
  • Understanding of full BD lifecycle and competitive landscape in USSF, NRO, Space Domain Awareness, or COCOMs
  • Experience with structured BD and capture methodologies (Shipley, Hi-Q, Consultative Selling)

Responsibilities

  • Perform market analysis, strategic business planning, capture strategy/solution development
  • Manage opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and capture management
  • Engage customers and support proposal responses
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Financial, Proposal, Product, Contracts, and Engineering teams
  • Research Govwin, NXTLS, Deltek, OUSD and customer sites for market intelligence
