💼 About This Role

You'll design large-scale machine learning models for Coupang's advertising platform, improving ad targeting, relevance, and ranking. You'll drive innovation in search relevance and user intent modeling using LLMs and vector search. This role offers a chance to build ad quality stack from ground up in a high-growth e-commerce company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design features and build large-scale ML models for ad targeting and ranking
• Implement ML systems for search ranking, semantic retrieval, and personalized discovery
• Build and optimize ML pipelines with Spark, Airflow, Kubeflow, and MLflow
• Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate model impact

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 6 years of professional experience in applied machine learning
• Experience in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java with production ML systems experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's or PhD in relevant technical fields
• Experience with search systems, information retrieval, or recommendation engines
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
