Description

As a Hardware Reliability Engineer on the Starlink Aviation team, you will ensure the reliability and quality of aviation products through design, manufacturing, test, and fleet operations. You'll design and execute long-term reliability tests, partner with engineering teams, and drive corrective actions to prevent defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering (student project/internship qualifies)
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Programming experience in Python, C, or SQL for data analysis and automation
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and offsite as needed

Responsibilities

• Design and execute long-term reliability tests during product development and qualification
• Partner with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and process reliability
• Develop, implement, and validate test and inspection processes for new and existing products
• Investigate anomalies and failures to identify root cause and mitigate risks for structural and electrical systems
• Drive corrective actions and systematic process improvements to prevent defects and failure modes
