💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead a world-class engineering organization at Realm, an AI-first company transforming mining operations. You'll own team delivery, engineering standards, and culture while working directly with the CEO. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team of backend, full-stack, and AI/ML engineers
• Recruit aggressively and build a team that raises the collective bar
• Define and uphold engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD
• Partner with CEO on engineering organization design and roadmap

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years managing engineers with a track record of growing careers
• Strong individual contributor background with production code at scale
• Confidence across the stack including backend services and AI/ML or computer vision

• Startup experience as an early engineering leader
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor
