Description

As a Principal Java Software Engineer at Lucanet, you will architect and build scalable core services for a cloud-native SaaS platform. You'll pair-program with AI assistants like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development, owning code quality end-to-end. You'll collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Architecture to deliver production-ready solutions that power modern finance.

Requirements

• Experienced backend engineer in Java
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
• Strong system design and API design skills
• Willingness to use AI coding assistants
• Familiarity with Node.js or Python is a plus

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable core services

• Design RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger
