Description

You will support the daily operations of the world's largest Earth Observation satellite constellation, develop and maintain critical software, analyze data, and resolve anomalies. This is a part-time, temporary role lasting 12 months with a hybrid work schedule in San Francisco.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university for an advanced degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Software, or Science
• Software development experience in Python or similar languages
• Familiarity with the space environment
• Data-driven mindset with experience in statistical analysis
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills within a technical team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time, mission-critical software for satellite operations
• Support daily fleet checks, triage and resolve satellite anomalies
• Write scripts to aggregate satellite data and generate monitoring metrics
• Test and deploy flight software upgrades and perform on-orbit experiments
• Create and maintain operational procedures
