💼 About This Role

You'll build the reconciliation foundation for Dave's data systems, designing pipelines and AI-powered matching logic to keep financial data trustworthy. You'll sit at the intersection of data engineering, finance, and operations, serving as the technical lead. This greenfield role lets you define best-in-class reconciliation infrastructure from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement transaction reconciliation pipelines across internal and external systems
• Develop and maintain anomaly detection rules with ML-based signals
• Apply probabilistic and fuzzy matching techniques for automated transaction resolution
• Build real-time and batch pipelines to surface unmatched or anomalous transactions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data analytics, data engineering, or financial data roles
• Deep SQL proficiency and strong Python skills (pandas, PySpark)
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Familiarity with ACH transaction cycles or financial settlement processes

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building anomaly detection logic (rule-based, statistical, or ML-driven)
• Exposure to probabilistic/fuzzy matching techniques
• Experience in fintech or financial services preferred
