💼 About This Role

You'll shape and scale internal tools and integrations that power go-to-market teams at Calendly. You'll own projects end-to-end, from problem definition to system architecture, building high-impact solutions for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. This role combines deep technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration in a highly visible, business-critical area.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate services and APIs for contacts and companies.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape requirements and deliver incremental value.
• Contribute to data model and storage strategies for people and related objects.
• Improve platform resilience with observability, fault-tolerant patterns, and on-call support.

📋 Requirements

• 7-10+ years of professional software development experience owning production services in SaaS.
• Strong proficiency in backend development building services, APIs, and data-intensive workflows.
• Experience designing for scalability and reliability in cloud environments (GCP preferred) with Kubernetes.
• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and data modeling for complex domains.

✨ Nice to Have

• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript or strong interest in UI contracts.
• Experience with microfrontends, Node services, Rails ecosystems, and event-driven architectures.
