Description

You will make home visits to clients in Howard and Carroll Counties, Maryland, performing evaluations and providing therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. You'll develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, and document care using a touch pad tablet as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech from ASHA or equivalent educational and work experience
• Solid computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders
• Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care
• Accurately document patient care management using an electronic tablet
