Description

You will lead the mechanical development of new autonomous missile systems from concept through flight test, driving system architecture and design solutions to meet performance, rate, and cost requirements. You'll also manage a multidisciplinary team, participate in design reviews, and support testing and customer discussions.

Requirements

• BS in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of aerospace experience in a professional setting
• Working knowledge of MIL standards and industry best practices
• Experience developing air vehicle conceptual designs through deployment
• Must possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical development of autonomous air vehicles from concept to flight test
• Derive and shape requirements internally and externally
• Drive system architecture and design solutions for performance, rate, and cost
• Hands-on development of aircraft, airframe, and subsystem detailed design and assembly
• Lead design reviews, support test plans, and manage a team of 10-25 engineers
