Description

You will own the finance function at Proton, building and maintaining the operating model, running FP&A, managing reporting and compliance, and partnering directly with the CEO on financial decisions. You'll oversee accounting, billing, and cash management, and lead one direct report.

Requirements

• SaaS metrics fluency (ARR, NDR, CAC, LTV, burn multiple, magic number)
• Financial modeling skills – built operating models from scratch
• Startup experience at Series A or B stage
• Based in Boston, in-office 3x/week
• Exceptional attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Own FP&A: build and maintain operating model and budget
• Prepare monthly budget vs. actuals reporting and track SaaS metrics
• Oversee accounting: revenue recognition, month close, AP/AR
• Own billing, collections, and cash management
• Partner with CEO on financial decisions and fundraising preparation
