Description
You will identify, cultivate, and close new funding partnerships with individuals, foundations, and corporations to support Code.org's mission of expanding access to computer science education. You'll drive donor acquisition, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with internal teams to secure six-figure commitments.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of frontline nonprofit fundraising experience with net-new donor cultivation
- Proven success managing a donor portfolio with gifts ranging from $25K–$100K
- Experience owning and delivering against annual fundraising goals of $1M+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailoring messaging to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines
Responsibilities
- Identify and research new donor and partner prospects aligned with mission
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through outreach and referrals
- Conduct discovery meetings and pitch conversations to align prospect goals with funding opportunities
- Drive the full sales cycle from first touch through close, focusing on multi-year, six-figure commitments
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, tracking prospect interactions and pipeline stages
