💼 About This Role

You'll build the analytical and modeling foundation for Laurel's AI Time platform, defining product and ML success metrics. You'll own the full analytics lifecycle, from instrumentation to model evaluation, enabling fast data-driven decisions. This is a high-ownership 0→1 role where you'll define the questions and build frameworks that operationalize Product Analytics and applied ML.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and own key product and model success metrics
• Build and maintain canonical tables and metric definitions in the analytics data warehouse
• Lead rigorous evaluation of ML features and models in production
• Prototype and iterate on applied ML models for new product capabilities

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• 3+ years professional experience as a Data Scientist
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency
• Experience building and evaluating ML models

• Experience with experimentation platforms like LaunchDarkly
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow
• Familiarity with BI tools (Thoughtspot, Mode)
