💼 About This Role

You'll design and lead the operational backbone for Abby Care's diverse workforce, combining compliance rigor, operational excellence, and an AI-native mindset. You'll own People Operations across caregivers, corporate and clinical employees, and global contractors. This role offers ownership of people technology strategy and the chance to embed AI tools into workflows.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and lead the People Operations team covering payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle.
• Design and scale caregiver onboarding, payroll, and benefits processes across states.
• Embed AI tools and automations into People workflows to drive efficiency.
• Own HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms and partner with Finance and Legal.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of People/HR Operations experience
• At least 3 years leading teams in high-growth organizations
• Proven expertise in HR operations, compliance, HRIS, and benefits across multiple states
• Experience managing distributed operations teams and global contractors

• Understanding of U.S. employment law and caregiver/healthcare compliance
• Comfort with AI/automation tools
