💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Flight Content team at Navan, owning critical backend components for flight shopping. Your work will scale the next-generation flight platform driving global business growth. This is a high-scale, complex environment impacting customers worldwide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage, coach, and grow a team of 3-5 engineers.
• Guide architectural decisions for Java/Spring Boot and AWS stack.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders across teams.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years building and leading teams of at least 6 engineers
• 8+ years building and scaling complex systems in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with JVM optimization expertise
• Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, and AWS

✨ Nice to Have

• Domain knowledge in travel industry (flights, bookings, inventory management)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
