Description

You will develop and implement crane safety programs across SpaceX sites, including policies, training, and audits. You'll collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure safe crane usage, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement in heavy equipment safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience in EHS disciplines
• 5+ years experience inspecting, managing, and working with heavy equipment and cranes
• NCCCO certification preferred
• 10+ years as certified advanced rigger preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement crane safety programs, policies, procedures, and training modules
• Advise on heavy equipment procurement strategy based on work scope per site
• Train and certify crane operators, signal persons, and riggers on safe practices and PPE use
• Investigate crane-related incidents, prepare root cause analysis and preventive recommendations
• Conduct audits of crane operations and promote a culture of safety
