Description

You will lead the Marketplace Health Squad, shaping demand and supply dynamics across Careem's platform. Your focus will be on ensuring marketplace balance, operational efficiency, and growth across verticals like Food, Quik, and Mobility. You'll design scalable solutions that optimize the core marketplace engine using data, experimentation, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative field; MBA preferred
• 6-9 years of Product Management experience in E-commerce, Ride-hailing, or Quick Commerce
• Proven experience in marketplace optimization, dynamic pricing, or incentive systems
• Strong exposure to working with Data Science and Engineering teams
• Familiarity with SQL, experimentation platforms, and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve marketplace health metrics (fulfillment rate, cancellations, idle supply, wait times)
• Design and execute dynamic balancing levers (pricing, incentives, batching, allocation algorithms)
• Develop forecasting, elasticity modeling, and market simulation tools with analytics and data science
• Build frameworks for demand stimulation and supply activation
• Design and run A/B experiments to validate hypotheses across incentive, pricing, and routing domains
